A CURATED COMMUNITY, CONVENED BY AMPRA

For the people helping organizations actually adopt AI

The Applied AI Collective is a community for strategists, architects, and agency owners doing the real work of AI adoption and implementation. We're figuring this profession out in real time. It goes faster together.

Client wants an approval step before anything hits their CRM. Anyone solved this without building a whole review queue?

We used a Slack approve/reject button straight into the workflow. Took an afternoon. Happy to share the JSON.

Same, though watch the timeout. We learned that one the hard way.

Illustrative. The kind of thread you get when the room is full of practitioners.

Nobody has done this before, including us.

AI is moving faster than anyone's ability to build a playbook for it. The people implementing it inside real organizations are working out scoping, architecture, training, and change management largely on their own, in parallel, often solving the same problem in five different cities on the same Tuesday.

There's no reason for that. The field is wide open and there's more work than any of us can take. So we'd rather compare notes than guard them.

The Applied AI Collective exists to put those people in one room and let them learn from each other.

WHO IT’S FOR

Three kinds of practitioners, one conversation.

AI Strategists and Consultants

You help organizations work out where AI fits and how to get people to actually use it. Strategy, adoption, training, change management, workflow design.

AI and Automation Architects

You design and build the systems. Automations, agents, integrations, development, technical architecture.

AI and Automation Agency Owners

You've built a business around this work. Implementation, automation, training, or anything adjacent.

Plenty of people sit across two or three of these, or somewhere near the edges. That's the point. The most useful conversations tend to happen between people who work differently.

WHAT’S INSIDE

What we're building.

Practitioner Q&A and discussions

Workflow and architecture demos

Virtual roundtables

A private Slack community

Templates, frameworks, and resources

Get unstuck. Someone here has almost certainly hit your problem already.

Members showing what they built and how, including the parts that took three attempts.

People worth an hour of your time.

Guest experts and speakers

Small group conversations on the things everyone's working through at once.

Questions, answers, and the conversations that only happen between people doing the same work.

Shared by members, added to over time.

Work you can't take, people you'd trust with it, and the occasional second pair of hands.

Referral and collaboration opportunities

Members join from anywhere. The first events will start in San Diego, with more cities as the group grows.

In-person gatherings

WHAT TO EXPECT

The kind of community we want to build.

A few things we care about, stated plainly.

  • Share openly. What you learned this month is worth more to someone else than it is sitting in your notes.

  • Help other members. Answer as often as you ask.

  • Stay curious and respectful. Different tools, different methods, different business models, all welcome.

  • Skip the pitching. No spam, no aggressive self-promotion.

  • Behave well. No unethical work, and no unkindness toward other members.

We review applications for exactly one reason: to keep this a room worth showing up to.

Why Ampra is convening this.

Ampra is a fractional AI and automation consultancy. We do this work every week, and we've felt the same gap our members have: there was no good room for the people doing it.

So we're making one. We create the space, bring good people together, help organize events, and contribute what we've learned. The rest belongs to the members.

Fill out the short form below, we'll review it, and approved members get an invitation to the Slack community.
